The company is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Country Manager to oversee national operations, business growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, revenue expansion, and organizational performance across Nigeria.
Position Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for leading the Nigerian business unit, driving market expansion, strengthening customer relationships, managing operational excellence, and ensuring profitability. The successful candidate will oversee cross-functional teams covering operations management, business development, supply chain management, sales leadership, customer experience, and corporate governance.
This role is ideal for an executive with strong experience in strategic planning, P&L management, stakeholder engagement, and regional business leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute country-wide business strategies aligned with regional objectives.
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Oversee operational efficiency across logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions.
- Build relationships with government agencies, regulators, and key corporate clients.
- Monitor financial performance, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead and mentor senior management teams across multiple departments.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Manage risk assessment and business continuity programs.
- Oversee customer retention strategies and service excellence initiatives.
- Present performance reports to regional and global leadership teams.
- Champion innovation, digital transformation, and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CILT, APICS, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior executive role managing national operations.
- Proven track record in business growth, market expansion, commercial management, and organizational leadership.
- Experience managing large-scale teams and multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: NGN 4,500,000 – NGN 7,500,000
