Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Accessibility Team in Kano, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improving the accessibility of our products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that accessibility is integrated into the design and development of our products and services
- Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines and standards for our organization
- Provide training and support to employees on accessibility best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility technologies and trends
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in accessibility or a related field
Salary
60000 – 80000 SSP per annum
