We seek an innovative Robotics Engineer to join our Engineering and Innovation Department in Aba, Nigeria. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robotic and automation solutions for construction and manufacturing.
  • Program industrial, collaborative, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) using Python, C++, ROS.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new robotic applications.
  • Perform system integration, testing, and validation for optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robotic hardware, software, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software engineers) for integrated solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
  • Stay updated on advancements in robotics, automation, and AI to propose innovative solutions.
  • Provide training and support to operational staff on robotic systems.
  • Ensure all robotic systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in robotics programming (Python, C++, MATLAB, ROS).
  • Expertise in robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with various robot platforms (KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, Universal Robots).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design and simulation.
  • Solid understanding of sensors, actuators, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Experience with machine vision systems and image processing for robotic applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.

Education
