Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Procurement Compliance Auditor to join our internal audit team in Dutse. This role is critical to ensuring that all procurement activities align with international standards, local regulations, and internal company policies. The successful candidate will evaluate vendor selection processes, contract management, and spending patterns to mitigate risks and prevent fraud. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of procurement workflows to ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
- Evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations and ethical standards.
- Identify discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize procurement cycles and reduce leakage.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management regarding compliance risks.
- Investigate irregularities in the bidding and tendering processes.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of procurement auditing techniques and internal control frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and logistical data.
- High level of integrity and professional skepticism.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or ACCA is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement auditing, internal audit, or supply chain compliance, preferably within a large-scale manufacturing or industrial sector.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
