We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Makurdi, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation programs.
Job Overview
The Digital Forestry Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation programs. This will involve working closely with our forestry and conservation teams to identify areas where digital solutions can be used to improve the effectiveness of our programs.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field, and will have experience working with digital technologies such as geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and data analytics.
The Digital Forestry Systems Analyst will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation programs
- Working closely with our forestry and conservation teams to identify areas where digital solutions can be used to improve the effectiveness of our programs
- Collaborating with other teams within IUCN to ensure that digital solutions are integrated into our overall program strategy
- Providing technical support and training to our forestry and conservation teams on the use of digital technologies
