Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Geospatial Analyst to join our geospatial services team in Jos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support our mining operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global resources company and contribute to the success of our geospatial services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support mining operations
- Develop and implement geospatial solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into business decisions
- Provide training and support to colleagues on geospatial technologies and techniques
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in geospatial software and technologies (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Experience with data visualization and mapping tools
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field (e.g. Geography, Computer Science, Engineering)
Experience
5-7 years of experience in a geospatial role, preferably in the mining industry
Salary
800,000 – 1,200,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
