Job Description:
The Sustainable Urban Planner will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies that promote economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability.
- Conducting research and analysis on urban planning issues and trends.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and private sector partners, to develop and implement urban planning projects.
- Providing technical assistance and training to government officials and community leaders on urban planning and development.
- Developing and managing urban planning projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning and development.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, theories, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
