Job Overview
Dangote Group, one of Africa’s leading conglomerates, is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Supervisor to manage and grow sales of its FMCG and industrial products in Kano and surrounding regions. This role focuses on implementing regional sales strategies, managing distribution channels, and ensuring revenue growth across retail, wholesale, and institutional clients.
The successful candidate will lead a sales team, monitor territory performance, and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key accounts. The position demands a strong understanding of sales operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets
Manage and supervise sales representatives and distribution networks
Build and maintain key client and distributor relationships
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
Oversee trade marketing initiatives and product promotions
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline analytics
Monitor sales KPIs and territory performance metrics
Identify new business opportunities and market segments
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve customer engagement
Coach and train team members on sales techniques, customer relationship management, and performance improvement
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of FMCG and industrial product sales
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in territory management and B2B/B2C sales
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools
