Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute climate resilience strategies for vulnerable communities in Maiduguri.
• Conduct field assessments to identify climate risks and opportunities for ecosystem-based adaptation.
• Coordinate with local governments, NGOs, and community leaders to implement sustainable land management practices.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes using climate data and impact metrics.
• Prepare reports and presentations for donors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance on climate-smart agriculture and water resource management.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in climate change adaptation or environmental project management.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian environmental policies and community engagement practices.

Education

Salary

250,000 – 400,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience.
