Job Overview

The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will lead initiatives to optimize FedEx Nigeria’s supply chain processes through environmentally responsible strategies. This role involves analyzing logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that reduce carbon emissions, waste, and energy consumption. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of supply chain operations to identify sustainability gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce carbon emissions, energy use, and waste in logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, ensuring compliance with FedEx’s global environmental standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of sustainability across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or environmental sustainability.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of green logistics practices and carbon footprint reduction techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Sustainability or Supply Chain Management is a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, environmental consulting, or sustainability project management. Prior work in the logistics sector is highly advantageous.

Salary

1,200,000 – 1,800,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
