We are seeking a skilled Digital Forensics Specialist to join our Cybersecurity and Digital Investigations team in Port Harcourt. This role involves analyzing digital evidence, conducting cybercrime investigations, and providing expert insights to safeguard client data. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to recover and analyze data from devices, networks, and cloud systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for legal proceedings involving cybercrime or data breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cybersecurity strategies.
- Identify vulnerabilities in digital systems and recommend mitigation measures.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and digital forensics methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Cellebrite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications like CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) are preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or law enforcement investigations.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience.
