Job Overview
The Agricultural Finance Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, structuring, and managing credit facilities for agricultural clients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial and cash‑flow analyses for agricultural borrowers, including smallholder farms, agribusinesses, and cooperatives.
- Assess agronomic and environmental risks using industry benchmarks, satellite data, and field reports.
- Structure loan products such as term loans, revolving credit facilities, and value‑chain financing that meet client needs while adhering to the bank’s credit policies.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals, risk assessments, and recommendation memos for senior credit committees.
- Monitor loan performance, conduct periodic reviews, and recommend corrective actions or restructuring where necessary.
- Collaborate with product development teams to design innovative financing solutions, including green loans and digital credit platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and training to relationship managers on agricultural finance best practices.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes, market trends, and government agricultural initiatives that affect credit risk.
