Job Overview
The Sustainable Textile Innovation Lead will be responsible for leading our textile innovation efforts in Nigeria, working closely with our global teams to develop and implement sustainable textile solutions. The role will involve:
• Developing and implementing sustainable textile solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
• Collaborating with our global teams to develop and implement new textile technologies and innovations
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the sustainable textile market
• Building relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable textile practices
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable textile solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with our global teams to develop and implement new textile technologies and innovations
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the sustainable textile market
- Build relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable textile practices
Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in textile innovation, sustainability, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable textile practices and technologies
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team
- Fluency in English and proficiency in a second language (e.g. French, Spanish)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field
