Job Overview:As a Sustainable Textile Innovation Lead, you will be responsible for driving innovation and sustainability in our textile supply chain. You will work closely with our suppliers, manufacturers, and designers to develop sustainable textile solutions that meet our brand’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable textile strategies that meet our brand’s sustainability goals
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to develop sustainable textile solutions
- Work with designers to integrate sustainable textiles into our product designs
- Conduct life cycle assessments and environmental impact studies on our textile products
- Develop and implement sustainable textile standards and guidelines for our suppliers
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Textile Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in sustainable textiles or related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable textiles, including organic cotton, recycled materials, and biodegradable materials
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
