We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Makurdi, Nigeria.

Job Overview

The Digital Forestry Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining digital systems to support forestry and conservation efforts in Nigeria. This will involve working closely with our team of experts to develop and implement data-driven solutions to address the complex challenges facing Nigeria’s forests and wildlife.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forestry, environmental science, or a related field, as well as experience with digital systems and data analysis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable with the latest technologies and tools.

The successful candidate will be based in Makurdi, Nigeria, and will be required to travel occasionally to other locations in Nigeria and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital systems to support forestry and conservation efforts in Nigeria
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address the complex challenges facing Nigeria’s forests and wildlife
  • Work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement digital systems and data analysis tools
  • Provide technical support and training to our team members on the use of digital systems and data analysis tools
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of our digital systems and data analysis tools

Required Skills

  • Strong background in forestry, environmental science, or a related field
  • Experience with digital systems and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable with the latest technologies and tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
