Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Ijebu-Ode, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forestry, environmental science, or a related field, as well as experience with digital technologies such as GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital technologies into our conservation programs
  • Analyze data to inform conservation decisions and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities

Required Skills

  • Strong background in forestry, environmental science, or a related field
  • Experience with digital technologies such as GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field

Experience

5-7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a conservation or environmental organization

Salary
