Job Overview

The Satellite Communications Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing satellite communication systems that support Huawei’s expanding portfolio of services in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop satellite communication system architectures tailored to Nigerian market requirements.
• Perform RF link budget analysis, antenna design, and frequency planning for LEO and GEO satellite services.
• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate satellite payloads with ground‑segment solutions.
• Lead field trials, performance testing, and validation of satellite links across diverse geographic terrains.
• Provide technical support to network operators and enterprise customers during deployment and operation phases.
• Develop documentation, technical specifications, and compliance reports in line with Nigerian regulatory standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging satellite technologies, industry standards, and competitive landscape to drive innovation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of satellite communication principles, RF engineering, and modulation techniques.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as STK, MATLAB, or ANSYS HFSS.
• Experience with network planning software and satellite link budgeting.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.

Education
