Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting processes, compliance activities, treasury coordination, and internal financial controls. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights that support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement effective financial controls and risk management procedures.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare management reports and financial performance dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
- Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure accurate payroll accounting and tax remittances.
- Mentor and develop finance team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Master’s Degree or MBA will be considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
