Job Overview
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about aviation safety. The Aviation Safety Inspector will conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in maintaining Arik Air’s reputation as a leader in safe and efficient air travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety audits of aircraft, maintenance facilities, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and crew teams to implement safety improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external regulatory bodies.
Required Skills
- Thorough understanding of aviation safety standards and risk management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in safety management software and regulatory compliance tools.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Safety, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. A professional certification in aviation safety (e.g., FAA, EASA) is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, or a similar role. Experience in airline operations or aircraft maintenance is preferred.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
