Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining digital forestry systems to support our environmental conservation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field, and experience in digital systems development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital forestry systems to support environmental conservation efforts
- Develop and maintain databases and software applications to track and analyze forestry data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize forestry projects and initiatives
- Provide technical support and training to staff on digital forestry systems
Required Skills:
- Strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field
- Experience in digital systems development and implementation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital systems development and implementation, preferably in an environmental conservation context
