Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy smart manufacturing systems using IoT-enabled devices and AI-driven analytics.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate robotics and automation into production lines.
- Conduct system audits to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Train local engineers on Industry 4.0 technologies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with international safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in IoT platforms (e.g., Siemens MindSphere, AWS IoT).
- Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of Python, C++, or MATLAB for system automation.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and digital twin technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and sustainability.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering. Advanced certifications in Industrial Automation or Digital Manufacturing are preferred.
Experience
3-5 years in manufacturing systems engineering, with a proven track record in implementing smart factory solutions. Experience in Nigeria’s industrial sector is a plus.
Salary
250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
