Job Overview
The Strategic Procurement Analyst will support Shell’s procurement function by analyzing spend data, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. This position plays a pivotal role in optimizing the supply chain, reducing costs, and fostering strong supplier relationships. The analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive spend analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for high‑value commodities and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with Shell’s ethical standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into procurement specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for senior management.
- Support risk management initiatives by assessing supplier risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance procurement processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain analysis, preferably within the oil and gas sector or a similarly complex industry. Experience with international suppliers and exposure to global sourcing strategies will be considered a strong asset.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 3,000,000 to SSP 5,000,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, pension contributions, and other employee benefits.
