Job Overview

The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for embedding sustainable practices into Heineken Nigeria’s supply chain processes. This includes assessing environmental impacts, developing mitigation strategies, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct lifecycle assessments of raw materials, packaging, and transportation to identify carbon hotspots.
  • Develop and implement sustainability metrics and KPIs aligned with Heineken’s global standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement to integrate sustainability criteria into supplier selection and evaluation.
  • Monitor and report on progress against sustainability targets, preparing quarterly and annual reports for senior management.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and promote circular economy practices within the supply chain.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustainable sourcing and logistics best practices.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends related to environmental compliance in Nigeria.
  • Support the preparation of sustainability disclosures for external stakeholders and certification bodies.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Knowledge of sustainable supply chain frameworks, such as GRI, CDP, or ISO 14001.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Experience

Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, sustainability consulting, or a related field. Experience within the beverage or consumer goods sector, particularly in emerging markets, will be considered highly relevant.

Salary
