Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable water resources management strategies for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional to join a dynamic and growing company and contribute to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering and water resources management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable water resources management strategies for our clients, including water conservation and efficiency measures, water treatment and reuse, and flood risk management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Nigerian water resources management policies and regulations, as well as experience working with government agencies and private sector clients. They will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable water resources management strategies for clients
- Conduct water resources assessments and develop recommendations for water conservation and efficiency measures
- Design and implement water treatment and reuse systems
- Develop and implement flood risk management plans
- Collaborate with government agencies and private sector clients to develop and implement water resources management policies and regulations
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental engineering and water resources management
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of Nigerian water resources management policies and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
