Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tourism development strategies and plans to promote Nigeria’s tourism potential
• Conduct market research and analyze tourism trends to identify opportunities and challenges
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector operators, and local communities to develop and promote tourism products and services
• Design and implement tourism-related projects and programs to create jobs and stimulate economic growth
• Provide technical assistance and support to tourism operators and entrepreneurs

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in tourism development, marketing, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of tourism industry trends, policies, and regulations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with digital mapping and tourism software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in tourism development, marketing, or a related field. Experience in project management, community engagement, and tourism product development is highly desirable.

Salary

The salary range for this position is ₦150,000 – ₦300,000 per annum.
