🎯 Job Purpose
The Country Pharmacist will ensure effective pharmaceutical management across the mission, including procurement, storage, distribution, and monitoring of medical supplies. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely availability of essential medicines.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pharmaceutical supply chain management (procurement, storage, distribution)
- Ensure compliance with national and international pharmaceutical regulations
- Monitor stock levels, consumption, and data reporting systems
- Collaborate with logistics and medical teams for efficient supply chain processes
- Support procurement planning, supplier evaluation, and import procedures
- Supervise pharmacy staff and strengthen team capacity
- Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, safety)
- Contribute to donor reports and project proposals
- Monitor epidemiological data and prescription practices

🧑💼 Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitals or health facilities
- Experience in emergency or humanitarian contexts is an asset
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical management and supply chains
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Competencies:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in complex environments

Languages:
- Fluent English required
