Job Overview

This role is part of Microsoft’s global initiative to expand EdTech access in underserved regions. The EdTech Product Manager will lead the development and implementation of educational software tailored to Nigerian schools, leveraging Microsoft’s global expertise while addressing local pedagogical needs. The position is based in Yola, a strategic hub for educational innovation in northern Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with educators to design interactive learning modules using Microsoft tools
  • Conduct needs assessments for schools and training institutions
  • Develop product roadmaps for EdTech solutions in partnership with Microsoft’s global R&D team
  • Coordinate with local governments to integrate Microsoft platforms into national curricula
  • Monitor user feedback and analytics to optimize product performance

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in educational technology product management
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian education systems and challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Cross-cultural communication abilities

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred.

Experience

3-5 years in EdTech product development, preferably with international organizations or tech firms.

Salary

200,000 – 350,000 SSP annually, with performance-based bonuses.
