The bank is seeking a Sustainable Urban Planner to join its team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in Africa.

Job Overview

The Sustainable Urban Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in Africa. The successful candidate will work closely with the bank’s urban planning and development team to identify and address urban development challenges in Africa.

The job requires a strong understanding of urban planning principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies and projects. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in Africa.

Work closely with the bank’s urban planning and development team to identify and address urban development challenges in Africa.

Conduct research and analysis on urban development trends and best practices in Africa.

Develop and implement urban planning policies and guidelines for the bank’s operations in Africa.

Provide technical assistance and support to the bank’s clients and partners on urban planning and development issues.

Required Skills

Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field.

8-12 years of experience in urban planning and development.

Strong understanding of urban planning principles and practices.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field from a recognized university.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in urban planning and development, with a strong understanding of urban planning principles and practices.

Salary

The salary for this position is 800,000 – 1,200,000 SSP per annum.
