Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading urban planning projects, developing sustainable urban design solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead urban planning projects from concept to completion
- Develop sustainable urban design solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector clients
- Conduct site visits and analyze data to inform urban planning decisions
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documents as required
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable urban design
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, policies, and regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
