We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Ondo, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support our mining operations and business decisions.
Job Overview
The Digital Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data from various sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other geospatial datasets.
- Developing and implementing geospatial models and algorithms to support our mining operations and business decisions.
- Collaborating with other teams, including geology, mining engineering, and operations, to ensure that geospatial data is integrated into our decision-making processes.
- Providing training and support to other employees on the use of geospatial technology and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data from various sources.
- Developing and implementing geospatial models and algorithms.
- Collaborating with other teams to integrate geospatial data into decision-making processes.
- Providing training and support to other employees on the use of geospatial technology and data.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in geospatial software and programming languages, including ArcGIS, QGIS, and Python.
- Experience with data visualization and mapping tools.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology, Mining Engineering, or related field.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in geospatial technology and mining, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
Salary
800,000 – 1,200,000 SSP per annum.
