Job Overview
The InsurTech Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end development of digital insurance products that cater to both individual and corporate clients. Reporting to the Head of Product Development, the role involves translating market insights, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies into compelling product concepts. The manager will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, underwriting, compliance, and marketing—to ensure seamless product delivery and market launch. Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital insurance solutions aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create user‑friendly interfaces and seamless integration with core insurance systems.
- Work with underwriting and compliance to ensure products meet regulatory standards and risk management criteria.
- Develop business cases, pricing models, and go‑to‑market strategies to drive product adoption.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and implement continuous improvements.
- Lead product launch activities, including training sales teams, creating marketing collateral, and coordinating with partners.
- Stay abreast of emerging InsurTech trends, such as AI underwriting, blockchain, and telematics, to incorporate innovative features.

- Strong product management experience in insurance, fintech, or related digital services.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in product management, insurance, or technology (e.g., PMP, CSPO) are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of five years of product management experience, with at least two years focused on digital insurance or financial technology solutions. Proven track record of launching successful products in the Nigerian market is highly preferred.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from NGN 3,500,000 to NGN 5,500,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and benefits.
