Key Job Responsibilities
Incident and Crisis Management Coordination
The Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator will:
- Lead initial responses to security incidents, emergencies, and crisis events identified through internal reports or monitoring systems.
- Classify incidents according to organizational procedures and escalate matters using predefined security protocols and SOPs.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders during incidents and ensure information accuracy.
- Assist with crisis management activation and operational response planning.
- Maintain accurate incident logs for future assessments and post-event analysis.
- Support improvements to Virtual Security Operations Centre (VSOC) processes and workflows.
- Train new staff members on systems, incident reporting procedures, and operational protocols.
- Issue travel alerts, advisories, and emergency notifications to staff and travelers.
- Monitor international travel activities and respond to travel-related security concerns.
Reporting and Security Analysis Duties
The AOSC will continuously monitor international developments to identify potential risks affecting CARE operations.
Core duties include:
- Conducting security intelligence research and geopolitical risk assessments.
- Producing analytical reports, security briefings, and written intelligence summaries.
- Monitoring global political developments, regional instability, humanitarian crises, and emerging operational risks.
