Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for existing and new loan portfolios.
  • Analyze portfolio performance metrics, including delinquency rates, loss given default, and exposure at default.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with credit officers to develop risk mitigation strategies and credit policy enhancements.
  • Utilize statistical models and predictive analytics to forecast credit trends.
  • Monitor compliance with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the development of stress‑testing scenarios and scenario analysis.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
  • In‑depth knowledge of credit risk concepts, Basel III standards, and Nigerian banking regulations.

Education
