Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to identify potential threats.
  • Perform deep packet inspection and traffic analysis to detect anomalous patterns.
  • Conduct initial triage and investigation of security incidents and alerts.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and remediate security breaches.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for security monitoring and response.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall management tools.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and other networking protocols.

Education
