Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts for complex security breaches and network intrusions.
• Perform continuous monitoring of network traffic and system logs to identify suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
• Develop and implement advanced security protocols and response playbooks.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security analysts within the SOC.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in firewall management and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
• Expertise in SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated cybersecurity role, preferably within a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a large-scale enterprise environment.
