Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of sustainable forest management practices in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts
- Develop and maintain databases and software applications to track forest inventory and conservation progress
- Collaborate with research teams to analyze data and develop insights on forest management practices
- Develop and deliver training programs for forest managers and conservationists on digital tools and techniques
Required Skills:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with database management systems and software development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry systems analysis or a related field
