Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Ibadan, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital forestry systems to monitor and manage forest resources in Nigeria. The role will involve working closely with our team of environmental experts to design and implement sustainable forestry practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital forestry systems to monitor and manage forest resources
- Collaborate with environmental experts to design and implement sustainable forestry practices
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and laws
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor forest health and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry systems development and implementation
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
