Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize energy storage systems for grid-scale and off-grid applications
  • Conduct feasibility studies for battery storage integration with solar/wind energy projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop energy storage solutions for industrial clients
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian energy regulations and international safety standards

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in energy storage system design software (e.g., HOMER Pro, MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Experience with lithium-ion and flow battery technologies
  • Strong analytical skills for energy demand forecasting and system optimization
  • Excellent project management capabilities for multi-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of Nigerian energy market dynamics and policy frameworks

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • Master’s Degree preferred in Energy Systems or Sustainable Engineering

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in energy storage system design and implementation
  • Proven track record in renewable energy project delivery

Salary

350,000 – 450,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
