Job Overview

This role focuses on designing and implementing resilient infrastructure systems to withstand climate change impacts and urbanization challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments for urban infrastructure projects under climate stress scenarios
  • Develop adaptive design solutions for transportation, water, and energy systems
  • Collaborate with local governments and stakeholders on resilience planning
  • Lead site evaluations and technical audits for infrastructure projects
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in GIS mapping and climate modeling software
  • Experience with Nigerian infrastructure regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities
  • Project management certification (PMP) preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Environmental Engineering
  • Master’s Degree in Climate Resilience or Sustainable Development is an advantage

Experience

  • 3-5 years in infrastructure development or urban resilience projects
  • Proven experience in Nigeria or West African markets

Salary
