Job Overview
As a Precision Agriculture Specialist, you will spearhead the development and implementation of data-driven agricultural solutions to optimize crop productivity and resource efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of farm management systems, IoT-enabled tools, and agronomic best practices to support smallholder and commercial farmers in adopting smart farming technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy precision agriculture technologies, including soil sensors, drones, and satellite imagery analysis.
- Analyze agricultural data to provide actionable insights for crop management and yield optimization.
- Train farmers and agricultural cooperatives on the use of digital tools for farm monitoring and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-powered solutions into existing farming workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of precision agriculture projects on productivity and sustainability metrics.
Required Skills
- Expertise in agricultural data analysis and geospatial technologies.
- Proficiency in farm management software (e.g., FarmBeats, AgLeader).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable agricultural solutions.

Education

Salary
300,000 – 500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
