Job Overview

The Digital Identity Solutions Manager will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting‑edge identity and access management (IAM) platforms for Microsoft’s enterprise customers in Nigeria and the broader West African region. Reporting to the Regional IAM Director, you will work cross‑functionally with product engineering, security, sales, and customer success teams to deliver secure, user‑friendly identity solutions that comply with local regulations such as the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end IAM solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales and solution architects to translate customer requirements into technical designs and proposals.
  • Lead pilot projects, proof‑of‑concepts, and full‑scale deployments, providing hands‑on technical guidance and mentorship to implementation teams.
  • Develop and maintain integration frameworks for on‑premises directories, cloud services, and third‑party applications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging identity standards (e.g., FIDO, OpenID Connect, SAML) and incorporate best practices into solution roadmaps.
  • Partner with Microsoft’s security and compliance teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles and meet NDPR and other regulatory requirements.
  • Drive customer adoption through workshops, training sessions, and post‑implementation support.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by publishing whitepapers, case studies, and speaking at industry events across Nigeria.

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and related IAM technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, federation services, and privileged access management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation and orchestration.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a track record of delivering complex technical projects.
  • Effective communication skills to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants should have 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering IAM solutions for large enterprises, preferably within the African market. Prior experience in consulting or a technology services environment is advantageous.

Salary
