Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analytics Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions that optimize end‑to‑end supply chain processes at Flour Mills of Nigeria. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the incumbent will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including procurement, production, logistics, and sales—to translate complex data sets into actionable insights that drive cost reduction, service level improvement, and inventory optimization. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing visibility across the supply chain network, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring that the company remains competitive in the dynamic food processing industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and transportation planning.

  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and scalability of analytics platforms.
  • Produce regular dashboards and executive reports that highlight key supply chain KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
  • Lead cross‑functional workshops to embed analytics insights into operational decision‑making processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the food manufacturing supply chain.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or PMP are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, or a similar role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Prior experience in the food processing sector is an advantage.

Salary
