Job Overview

The Sustainability Integration Manager will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability initiatives for EY’s clients in the manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability Consulting, the manager will work closely with cross‑functional teams to embed ESG considerations into business models, risk assessments, and strategic planning processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability integration frameworks tailored to client needs, covering carbon management, circular economy, and social impact.
  • Conduct ESG risk assessments, materiality analyses, and stakeholder mapping to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with audit, tax, and advisory teams to embed sustainability metrics into financial reporting and compliance processes.
  • Lead client workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagements to build capacity and foster a sustainability culture.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability initiatives, using data analytics to track progress against KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of global ESG standards, Nigerian regulations, and industry best practices to ensure client solutions remain cutting‑edge.
  • Prepare high‑quality deliverables, including sustainability reports, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and Nigerian ESG regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven project management experience, including stakeholder coordination and timeline management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking with a results‑oriented mindset.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as ESG Analyst, LEED AP, or a Master’s degree in Sustainability or Business Administration are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.

Experience

Candidates should possess 5‑7 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory, or related roles within professional services firms, multinational corporations, or NGOs. Demonstrated experience in the Nigerian market, particularly with manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure clients, will be a distinct advantage.

Salary
