Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sustainable Aquaculture Project Manager to join our team in Katsina, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our aquaculture projects, ensuring their successful implementation, and promoting sustainable aquaculture practices in Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aquaculture, excellent project management skills, and experience in managing teams. They will also be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including farmers, government officials, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage aquaculture projects from planning to implementation and evaluation
  • Develop and implement sustainable aquaculture practices in Nigeria
  • Collaborate with farmers, government officials, and customers to promote sustainable aquaculture practices
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of aquaculture projects
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve aquaculture productivity and efficiency
  • Provide training and capacity building to farmers and other stakeholders on sustainable aquaculture practices

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Aquaculture or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in aquaculture project management
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and lead teams
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources
  • Knowledge of sustainable aquaculture practices and regulations in Nigeria

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or related field

Experience

Salary
