Key Responsibilities
- Lead research projects focused on low‑carbon cement formulations, supplementary cementitious materials, and recycled aggregate utilization.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments, pilot‑scale trials, and field tests to validate material performance.
- Analyze test data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to translate technical innovations into marketable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards, including ISO 14001 and EN standards for sustainable construction.
- Manage relationships with universities, research institutes, and industry partners to foster joint development initiatives.
- Monitor emerging trends, regulations, and technologies in sustainable building materials and recommend strategic actions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of cement chemistry, concrete technology, and alternative binder systems.
- Proficiency in material characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TGA, and compressive strength testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with sustainability metrics, life‑cycle assessment (LCA), and carbon accounting.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or Ph.D. with a focus on sustainable construction materials is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Candidates should possess 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience in material research and development within the construction, cement, or related industries.
