Job Overview
The Wind Farm Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of multiple wind farm sites, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and cost efficiency. This role involves overseeing maintenance schedules, managing on‑site teams, and coordinating with engineering, health‑safety, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on‑site operations teams across all wind farm locations in the region.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize turbine availability.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and analyze performance data, generating reports on energy production, downtime, and operational costs.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and procurement departments to schedule upgrades and component replacements.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce OPEX, and support sustainability goals.
